Dear Friends,
It's near the year-end, what good deeds have you accumulated for yourself and your family this year? While some of us are worried with the current economic downturn thus cutting down on luxurious dinings and vacation, some of you are taking this golden opportunity to buy-in on Mainboard Blue Chip shares and foreign currencies. Everyone of us can easily survived this downturn as we have stable source of income. Unfortunately, the current economic downturn has badly affected the financial position of many welfare-based NGOs. Donations to many of these NGOs are tax-exempted, which is the perfect way to reduce your tax %, why contribute to the government when we can help the poor and needy?
Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled require about RM100,000/month to operate 6 centres. Besides providing skills training programme and employment assistance/counselling services to more than 1000 non-resident trainees, they also provide food, lodging and education to 120 resident trainees age from 6 yrs old to 60 yrs old.
Beautiful Gate is currently facing serious financial crisis and wishes to appeal for your support to carry on their noble work for the disabled community.
How you can help:
1) Donation (all donations is tax exempted)
2) Purchase Charity Coupon @ RM20/book. There will be a Charity Bazaar at The Summit USJ on Sunday, 7th Dec 08 at 11am to 3pm. Arts and Handicrafts by the disabled will be on sale.
3) Spread the news, sell charity coupons and appeal for donations from family and friends.
Deeply appreciate your kind consideration on this request and generousity. If you are interested to make a donation, you can either get in touch with Ms Shi Yun(She will collect it from you) or send a cheque directly to Beautiful Gate at SS2. For coupons, she willbe at Summit in the morning to pass to you. If you would like to buy coupons but not able to "spend" it, she will take the coupons and pass on to orphanage for the kids to have a splendid time at the Bazaar.
